Full-time Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions. Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support financial planning and analysis. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, including training and reviewing the work of interns and staff. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes for multi-state and multi-entity operations. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the healthcare sector. Expertise in ASC 606, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and P&L management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting. Over 1 years of proven experience in the healthcare industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and remotely. Must reside in Nashville, TN.
