Project Accountant 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Knoxville, TN Project Accountant As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related directly to bookkeeping for multiple projects on the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of construction accounting and cost coding.

Responsibilities Include:

Project cost reporting Gather documentation such as risk mitigation compliance, bonds, insurance certificates, etc. Ensures weekly AP review Manage bank deposits Set up new customers and manage job contracts Reconcile expense reports Cost coding invoices Works closely with financial institution partners and vendors Takes ownership of projects to ensure high quality results

Qualifications:

Construction accounting experience-required Minimum of 4+ years of recent construction accounting experience Experience in either Procore, Foundation, Spectrum, Viewpoint, Textura, etc. is highly sought after Excel- Proficient Salaried Position ($75-85,000), Direct Hire This is an onsite position located in metro Knoxville, TN.
