Summary :

The Senior Accountant is a key team member for the US and Group consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and the adoption of relevant accounting standards. This role involves preparing consolidated financial statements, interpreting complex transactions for stakeholders and delivering high-quality financial analysis to senior management, the board and external auditors. This role will ensure adherence to group policies and procedures, assist in identifying and mitigating risks through effective controls, and support various project initiatives and ad hoc requests as the business evolves. The position will focus on centralizing and streamlining the financial reporting processes. The position will prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and relevant documentation outlining key processes. Additional responsibilities may include the preparation of journal entries and accompanying schedules dealing with leasing and Group financial reporting. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Must follow U.S. GAAP and ASC 842, Leases, requirements for reporting as well as maintain SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) internal control compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries to account for the combination of multiple locations and foreign currency translations. Prepare various monthly journal entries related to leases, including accruals, prepayments, and amortization entries as needed. Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly roll forward schedules. Coordinate the timely communication of financial information needed across the global organization to be used in the month-end close process. Review information gathered from the Global teams and provide feedback and review questions. Research, analyze and answer accounting questions. Apply

accounting standards to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Contribute to the quarterly and annual financial statement footnote disclosures. Maintain proper support and documentation and assist with implementing and maintaining internal controls in order to remain SOX compliant. Assist local teams to reconcile between GAAP books and local ledger (stat) books Strong knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standard and familiarity with practical application of the standard Review new transactions and agreements to accurately apply GAAP accounting, including developing, coordinating, and implementation of global record to report processes to accurately record transactions in subledger, ERP, and consolidation system. Prepare consolidated schedules for financial statement information to support the Consolidated Statement of Cashflows and other External reporting requirements. Assist in the timely completion of the internal and external audit by preparing audit schedules and answering questions. Ensure compliance with

accounting standards. Special projects as assigned.

Professional Skills and Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance; two to three years related experience and/or training. Public Accounting (Big 4) and/or global public company experience is a plus Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP). Organizational, problem solving, detail oriented, strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent reasoning and analytical skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions. Ability to apply concepts of accounting and to have a working knowledge of the use of technical accounting pronouncements/literature. Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines. Strong team mentality. Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook including advanced Excel skills including the development of advanced formulas and pivot tables. Hands on experience with accounting software packages such as Lucernex or other ERP Financial software is a plus. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPA required Language Ability Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Strong written skills and presentation skills. Math Ability Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Advanced PC skills using Outlook, Word, Excel (ability to perform Pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel). Experience with Global ERP systems and other third-party accounting software. Exposure to Hyperion or other consolidation systems.
