Sr. Accountant Position Available In Knox, Tennessee

Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy.
• Manage the general ledger and prepare journal entries to support financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for efficient financial tracking and reporting.
• Handle credit card reconciliations and WIP (Work In Progress) accounting tasks.
• Conduct CAM reconciliations and manage accounts payable operations.
• Prepare for audits by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate on construction accounting tasks, including lien management.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on construction accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.
• Expertise in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with credit card reconciliation and WIP accounting processes.
• Experience with CAM reconciliation and accounts payable.
• Ability to prepare for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage complex accounting tasks.
