Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy.
- Manage the general ledger and prepare journal entries to support financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for efficient financial tracking and reporting.
- Handle credit card reconciliations and WIP (Work In Progress) accounting tasks.
- Conduct CAM reconciliations and manage accounts payable operations.
- Prepare for audits by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate on construction accounting tasks, including lien management.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to company policies.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on construction accounting preferred.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.
- Expertise in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with credit card reconciliation and WIP accounting processes.
- Experience with CAM reconciliation and accounts payable.
- Ability to prepare for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage complex accounting tasks.
