Job Description

Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will oversee various accounting functions, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end processes. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
  • Generate detailed financial reports and support management with data-driven insights.
  • Conduct billing operations and ensure invoicing aligns with company policies.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for daily accounting tasks and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and workflows.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
  • Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial data management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
