We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and payroll, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform financial analysis to identify trends and variances
Assist with audit preparations and tax filings
Maintain knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Quickbooks
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
