Exempt Summary Financial leadership role for the manufacturing business at Prinova Nutriton. This role works closely with the business unit Operations Leadership, Finance, and CI to improve operations and profitability. Role reports directly to the Cost Accounting Manager. In this role, you’ll have full ownership of the Production Work Order, from its standard rates to the collection of operational data, reporting of results, and recommending updates to the standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following . Other duties may be assigned. Owns the Production Work Order from data collection to reporting. Analyze Production Work Orders Actual v. Standard Report on Work Order results at completion and approve for closing. Partner with Operations to collect production data pertaining to each Work Order. Develop workflows to get data into JDE Work Orders consistently. Validate routings with actual data and report on variances Develop and maintain trend reports by work center group, product categories. Report material usage variances, and scrap for each work order. Reconcile the WIP account. Participate in analysis for what-if scenarios and business/manufacturing expansion plans Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost reduction through Production Work Order variances. All Prinova employees are required to ensure compliance standards with food safety, food defense and food quality. (FDA, ILDPH, FSMA and BRC). Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position handles a high volume of transactions daily. Must be a detail orientated, team playing self-starter. Education and/or Experience Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance from 4 year college or university plus 2 to 3 years related experience. Preferred experience in Cost Accounting. Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment. JD Edwards or other ERP software experience preferred. Proficient in Excel and other report generating software. Ability to travel between Nashville (75%) and Salt Lake City (25%).
