Job Description
Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Livingston, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organization’s financial health. This role requires strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile balance sheets to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and categorized.
- Assist with month-end close processes by preparing journal entries and analyzing financial data.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain detailed financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data and support financial initiatives. Requirements
- Proven experience in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in maintaining and managing general ledgers.
- Expertise in preparing accurate journal entries and financial reports.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of month-end close processes and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.
