Position OverviewReporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for general ledger management, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and supporting key system and audit initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the companys system of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports
- Support fixed asset accounting and payroll journal entries
- Assist with ERP system implementation and RFQ processes
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organizations financial integrityWhat Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required
- 5-10 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and cost control principles
