Accounting Generalist Schedule:

Full-Time. Day-shift, occasional evening shift. A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $58,000 to $62,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and alignment with the specific requirements of the role. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Generalist to join our finance team. The Accounting Generalist will provide crucial support to the Director of Finance, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to learn, possesses strong analytical skills, and is comfortable working with financial data.

Professional Qualifications Education:

At minimum a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting role. Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office/including Excel, Sheets, etc. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage, or similar) High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Tech – savvy, assist with technical needs, POS, inventory, etc. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), journal entries, via Clubessential software Reconcile bank statements and assist with monthly and year-end closings Maintain organized financial records and support audit preparations Process expense platforms (Ramp) and other credit cards, verify employee reimbursements when applicable Generate financial reports and summaries as directed Assist with payroll processing and benefit tracking, if applicable Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Perform administrative duties related to accounting, including filing, data entry, and document management

Work Environment:

This position typically operates in an office environment with a standard Monday-Friday schedule. This position may require work at both the office and the motorclub. . Mental/Visual/Physical Close attention to detail and mental concentration for extended periods of time are required with systems problems and applications. Subject to frequent interruptions requiring varied responses. Must deal with multiple situations concurrently. Physical efforts require mobility, reaching, bending, manual dexterity, and visual acuity. May occasionally move more than 15 pounds.
