EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field is required The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U! TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Accountant located in Germantown, TN. This role performs intermediate accounting and finance support while following established procedures to develop and implement business procedures with minimal direction

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Prepares and enters monthly general ledger journal entries and accruals to meet monthly deadlines Reconciles and analyzes general ledger accounts Understands financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow Performs regular analysis to identify potential issues and estimate monthly results Research and answer financial questions Develop standard and ad hoc reports with analysis to support business objectives as needed Recommends improvements to the company’s accounting operation/processes Assist on audit and tax requests as assigned. Performs other administrative duties as needed Strong communication and organizational skills Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills Well-organized self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement of key processes Strong team player, willing to contribute ideas and take on new challenges Ability to multi-task, prioritize time, and meet required deadlines High level of attention to detail – accuracy is key Capability to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Demonstrate approachable and professional demeanor
