Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the general accounting functions of affiliates/divisions, including but not limited to the general ledger, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and experience with financial reporting and month-end/year-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
Month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
Improve accounting systems, procedures, and controls.
Assist with tax preparation and filings as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
5+ years of accounting experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Concur).
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
