Treasury Accountant Position Available In Shelby, Tennessee

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Accountant in our Memphis, Tennessee location. The role involves leading the cash management operations, maintaining banking relationships, and providing leadership to a team of associates. You will also be involved in optimizing financial operations and managing all aspects of the money movement process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of cash management
• Develop and implement cash management goals and priorities
• Keep cash management policies, practices, and procedures updated and consistent
• Manage banking relationships and partners to align with the company’s financial goals
• Foster a culture of accountability, mentorship, and growth among team members
• Administer banking systems including bank account setup, documentation, and access maintenance
• Handle all aspects of money movement processes such as wires, ACHs, and client payment processing
• Serve as the primary contact for cash management inquiries and address payment discrepancies
• Manage daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation, and bank reporting
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in cash management workflows
• Improve cash management policies, procedures, and internal controls in line with industry standards
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and ad hoc analysis for senior management Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience in a Treasury Accountant role or similar.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role.
• Experience with ADP – Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with Banking software is advantageous.
• Prior usage of BlackLine will be considered beneficial.
• Knowledge of Concur is desirable.
• Candidate should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.
• Auditing skills are important for this role.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
• Knowledge of Banking Operation is essential.
• Candidate must have experience in Cash Management.
