Construction Accountant KPS Construction Gallatin, TN 37066 Overview We are seeking a cheery, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in governmental accounting and financial management, with the ability to interpret financial reports and perform comprehensive account reconciliations. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Conduct thorough account bookkeeping. Perform financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Interpret financial reports for management, providing insights into financial performance. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks, including data entry and report generation. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analytical support as needed. Requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software applications. Excellent skills in account reconciliation and financial report interpretation. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
