, the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry products, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our accounting team in Johnson City, TN or Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting costs to support strategic decision-making. This role plays a key part in budgeting, inventory valuation, and cost control efforts.

Responsibilities will include:

+ Work closely with sales managers and plant locations to analyze production and sales variances. + Assist with annual forecasting and budget preparation. + Prepare cost estimates. + Monitor transactions and ensure accurate reporting. + Participating in additional projects as necessary.

Position requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related curriculum. + 1-5 years of manufacturing cost accounting or

SAP FI/CO

experience with emphasis in production cost analysis and some sales/distribution accounting. + Computer proficiency (particularly with Excel) + Attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.
