Accounts Payable Accountant DRC Ventures LLC Franklin, TN 37067 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our company’s financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This position requires a solid understanding of financial accounting principles and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Maintain accounts payable records, including reconciliations and account analysis. Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable activities. Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues regarding payments. Support the payroll process by ensuring timely payment of employee-related expenses. Utilize QuickBooks for managing accounts payable transactions and maintaining financial records. Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations. Provide assistance during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role is preferred. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable processes is a plus. Experience with private equity accounting is advantageous but not required. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in account analysis and technical accounting tasks. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors. A background in public accounting is beneficial but not mandatory.
