Senior Accountant – FinTech – $85k-$90K Position Available In Williamson, Tennessee

Are you a collaborative, detail-oriented accounting professional ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, team-driven environment? A high-growth fintech company is seeking a Senior Accountant to take a key role in leading the month-end close, improving financial processes, and supporting junior team members. This is a highly visible role with leadership exposure and strong growth potential. You’ll be the go-to person for complex reconciliations, intercompany activity, and process optimization-while serving as a bridge between the accounting team and leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations Analyze and troubleshoot complex financial issues across multiple entities Oversee AP approvals and ensure timely, accurate processing Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment Work closely with leadership to improve processes and implement operational efficiencies Support integrations from acquisitions and system improvements Help build and maintain strong communication across departments

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment Strong hands-on experience with GL setup, intercompany accounting, AP, and billing Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) Strong interpersonal skills-must be comfortable mentoring and working across teams CPA preferred, but not required Experience with business licensing, taxes, or data queries is a plus Enjoys working on a team
