Job Description
Adding a Senior Payroll Accountant to a solid team with a growing, but stable company. Position will not be processing payroll, but rather will handle all the accounting behind payroll. 2 days a week in office in Brentwood. Workday experience highly preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reviews and/or prepares transactions for entry, posts entries upon approval, collects and evaluates data, conducts analysis, and prepares reports. Extract and analyze payroll data for reporting and reconciliation purposes Collaborates directly with the Payroll team as needed. Prepares detailed general ledger account reconciliations, researching discrepancies and reporting inconsistencies Supports internal and external audits Recognizes and upholds the importance of confidentiality in handling sensitive employee payroll, benefit, and incentive compensation data Identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in payroll accounting.
