Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. As part of this long-term contract role, you will play a critical role in managing Revenue and month end close. This position requires a strong attention to detail, advanced reconciliation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reconciliation tasks
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze and organize financial data.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to streamline workflows.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting tasks. Requirements
- Proven experience in bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate for financial processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Previous experience in Revenue Assurance is highly preferred.
