THE ROLE

The Staff Accountant manages general accounting and financial transactions with a strong attention to detail and plays an important support role, enabling senior staff to analyze and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives.

YOU WILL

Assist in all phases of accounting including but not limited to AR, AP, accruals, and fixed assets. Aggregate, analyze and convert data sources on a daily and monthly basis. Reconcile and prepare journal entries daily for cash and bank activity. Oversee sales tax management and reporting. Support monthly and year-end financial closes, including balance sheet account reconciliations. Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Engage with customers as needed in a professional manner. Help with gathering information for audits and tax preparation. Any other duties as assigned.

YOU BRING

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required) Knowledge of accounting systems (NetSuite required) 2+ years of accounting experience (preferred) 1+ years of multi-state sales tax experience, including familiarity with exemption management Strong balance sheet skills and understanding of GAAP, with an emphasis on ASC 606 Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to multi-task and balance priorities to meet deadlines Integrity, honesty, and analytical skills

Compensation Information Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
