Senior Accounting Manager – Lebanon, TN Requirements for this position
Experience:
8 to 12 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation.
License:
An active CPA license is required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required Master’s or graduate-level degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred A Day in the Life of a Senior Manager Manage a client base consisting of corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and individuals. Managing multiple engagements by properly delegating to staff and coordinating with partners on all phases of the engagement. Serve as a technical resource to the firm and its clients Proactive effort to develop new business with both current and prospective clients. Providing leadership, supervision, training, and performance feedback to staff Reviewing tax work papers and determining that the engagement has been performed in accordance with professional standards and the terms of the arrangement letter.
