Homeowner Association (HOA) Accountant (Hybrid-Remote Position) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Jeffersonville, VT 05464 • Hybrid work Position Overview As an HOA Accountant, you’ll manage the financial operations for multiple Homeowner Associations, working closely with internal resort teams and external stakeholders. From reconciling accounts to coordinating resale transactions, your work ensures financial clarity and builds trust with our homeowner community. This is a hybrid-remote position, with one day per week in the office required. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Reconciliations Review, analyze, and report monthly HOA financial statements to the HOA Finance Manager. Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including cash and prepaid accounts. Address discrepancies and follow through on corrective action. Accounts Receivable & Owner Engagement Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts through emails and phone calls. Process and post payments from multiple sources (Wyndham, Resort Suite, Owner Reward). Maintain owner data and post updates in relevant systems. Club Home Resale & Documentation Prepare resale certificates, equity statements, and disburse resale proceeds. Record and review club home sale transactions on behalf of HOA boards. Coordinate with the Town Clerk for document filings and support month-end closing. Maintenance & Audit Support Conduct monthly audits of reserve-related service orders. Assist in updating owner contact information across systems. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems. Experience with A/R processes, financial reconciliation, and basic financial reporting. Strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with various teams. A positive attitude and motivation to contribute to a fun, professional environment.
