JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting supervisor is responsible for aircraft accounting, to include month end and year end close, budgets and forecasts, cash forecasts, and associated tasks.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): Lead the month end and year end close process for aircraft accounting and treasury Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliations Support internal and external audits Responsible for Aircraft financial budgets and forecasts Maintain cash forecasts Develops and maintains annual headcount budget Reconcile company “fringe” expenses Prepare special reports and analysis, participate in projects, and perform other duties as assigned Supervise Sr. Accountant
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm Requires daily computer work Sitting for extended periods of time
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 7 accounting experience Month end close experience Cash forecast, budget preparation experience Advanced GL reconciliation skill level Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency with major ERP system.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, etc…) CPA or advanced degree
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The compensation for this position typically falls between $78,000 to $104,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
