Key Responsibilities:

Process invoices and receipts, reconcile bank statements, and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and billing in line with firm policies. Coordinate communications with vendors and maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems. Support scheduling, document preparation, and routine reporting as directed by the Legal Administrator. Participate in month-end and year-end financial close activities, which may occasionally require extended hours.

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of accounting principles, including balance sheets and income statements. Proficiency with Peachtree, Quicken, and Microsoft Excel for financial data entry and reporting. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Prior administrative or bookkeeping experience, preferably within a legal or professional-services environment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office setting.
