The role of Accounting and Office Administrator is to provide all accounting functions pertaining to day-to-day operations, receivables, and payables, as well as managing general office operations. The role is crucial so that the company operates profitably and efficiently while maintaining its high standards of quality and communication. Successful performance is measured by accuracy and timeliness of accounting activities, as well as assigned tasks and responsibilities that support delivering finished products within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Strong understanding and use of accounting principles and functions, including bills, invoicing, payroll, taxes, A/R & A/P through proficiency with QuickBooks Monitoring and managing mail, email, voicemail Office calendar, files, jobs and projects All human resources forms, records, PTO, team meetings and events, etc. Maintain current certificates of insurance for subcontractors Set up and coordinate Homeowner Orientations Maintain proficiency with computer and various platforms including, but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Autonomy in identifying opportunities and priorities, and utilizing internal drive and focus to complete tasks with timeliness and accuracy Professionally and effectively communicate with customers, the team, and other resources
