Participate in various aspects of the monthly/quarterly closing process including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including reports on 10‐Q, 10‐K, and other filings. Assist with year‐end audits. Assist the Accounting Project Manager with projects as assigned. Preparation of monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements. Training new and existing staff as needed. Participate in the financial accounting integration within the ERP system, ensuring internal controls are implemented and efficient processes are designed, documented, and followed. Participate in the budget process and ad hoc projects, as required. Maintain technical alignment with key stakeholders. Possess a high-level understanding of computer programming languages. Check software projects periodically to evaluate performance and provide updates. Lead the team through all testing and training phases. Possess strong knowledge of project management processes.

Qualifications:
5+ years of GL accounting/reconciliation experience 2+ years of Accounting Manager/Supervisor experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance 3+ years of experience in a large (500 million+) sized company 3+ years of utilizing the ‘T-Rex’ reconciliation experience Retail industry experience
Work Environment:
Candidates will work 100% remote. If local to MN, there is the option to work out of the office in Stillwater. The role provides a lot of flexibility and minimal micro-management.
