Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in . As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial report writing, bank reconciliation, accounting software, budgeting, tax, and double-entry bookkeeping. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and identify any errors or discrepancies
- Provide support during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Familiarity with financial report writing and analysis
- Experience with bank reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
