Cruz Concrete and Guniting Repair is a reputable, award-winning shotcrete construction contractor based in Manasquan, New Jersey. Established in 1986, Cruz has worked on nearly every bridge and tunnel connecting into New York City. Our company is a home-based business and is looking to replace our current admin, who will be retiring this year.

Full Job Description:

We are looking for an astute, savvy person to process weekly payrolls, organize and calculate receipts (accounts receivable), send out monthly invoices (accounts payable), and pull financial reports for current construction jobs from accounting software (SAGE).

Responsibilities:
Payroll:

Export employee information between payroll programs, to submit weekly Payroll;

Accounts Payable:

Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, including receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, etc.;

Accounts Receivable:

Create monthly invoices in AIA format;

Audits:

assist with quarterly audits from Unions, insurance companies, federal, etc.; Provide administrative support to the team by handling various clerical tasks; Manage office filing systems and maintain organized records; Answer phone calls, take messages and direct inquiries to the appropriate person; Utilize computer skills to create and update documents and spreadsheets. Qualifications /

Skills:

Strong understanding of ADP Workforce Now (payroll systems);

SAGE 100

Contractor experience is a plus (accounting systems); Proficient in accounting; Previous experience as an assistant, in a clerical role, or at a construction company preferred; Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Google Workspace; Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively; Excellent attention to detail for proofreading financial documents; Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong computer skills.

Requirements:

5 years office experience College degree Valid driver’s license

Job Type:

Part-time Expected hours: Monday – Thursday, 6-hr shift, flexible hours

Pay:
