They are seeking an Accounting Supervisor fortheir location in Syracuse. The role reports to the OperationsController. There is a significant opportunity to take on moreresponsibility as you grow with the company. What you’ll do:

Provide accounting related project assistance to Project Manager(s)including monthly WIP reporting Manage staff of three (3) handlingall aspects of project accounting, including: Project set up, jobcost budgets. Establishing SOV’s using AIA format in excel Clientbilling and collections – AIA, Unit Price, and T&M Assumeprimary position on collection efforts. Accounts payable/paymentprocessing/lien waivers/statement reconciliation Assist projectmanagers with maintaining Change Order Logs via excel. Bring timelyresolution to closing out/billing change orders. Liaison with homeoffice Operations Controller on monthly closing Monthly financialreporting and project management reporting to Senior Leadership andcoordination with home office on various matters Assume additionaltasks assigned by senior management or which are logically inherentto this As Accounting Supervisor, you should have: Associate orbachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 8 years of billing andproject accounting experience required. Previous experience in theconstruction industry preferred. Experience using Excel to preparespreadsheets and reports.
