Accounting Manager Position Description:

Our Finance & Accounting (F&A) team is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support our accounting needs during rapid growth. This person will be responsible for owning key accounting activities and processes across the business and will play an integral and visible role in keeping our company on track. What You’ll Do:

Prepare and analyze quarterly internal consolidated and consolidating financial statements, including Work in Process (WIP) Schedules Manage the month-end closing schedule and oversee the preparation of all account reconciliations, as well as the preparation and review of journal entries in the GL. Drive the month-end close schedule by overseeing and, at times, preparing journal entries in the GL and owning particular tasks in that process, while preparing and reviewing robust documentation and reconciliations. Prepare variance analyses for specific accounts to assist the FP&A and leadership teams in identifying key insights in regular monthly financial reporting. Led various accounting transaction cycles while improving the established processes through efficient process design and automation. Assist with annual external audits by preparing schedules, documenting, explaining procedures, and providing requested information as needed. Collaborate and partner with teams across the company to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Drive ongoing process improvements and efficiency gains for areas of responsibility. Lead or assist on ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g., tax compliance, system implementations). As a Supervisor, you should have: 5+ years of supervisory experience. Construction (cost-to-cost) accounting experience preferred, but not required. Solid communication skills and ability to manage a team of 7 senior and staff accountants. CPA required. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business. Advanced Excel capabilities/knowledge. Strong understanding of US GAAP. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality and consistent work product. Merit-Based Bonus Tuition Reimbursement Program Annual Salary Range:
