You will be responsible for day-to-day operation, budgeting and maintaining staff records. As a medical accounts receivable manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical billing office. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the accounts receivable department, ensuring accurate billing and collections. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments. Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials and discrepancies. Implement best practices to improve efficiency in payment processing Train and supervise accounts receivable staff Provide informative material for patients Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards Skills Experience in medical billing and accounts receivable management. Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies and insurance claim processing. Ability to handle medical records discreetly Knowledge of medical issues and terminology Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
