We are seeking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP function. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, process-oriented, and ready to step into a leadership role. If you enjoy building strong vendor relationships, improving systems, and working collaboratively across teams, this opportunity may be a great fit. What You’ll Do Lead and supervise a small but critical AP team. Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle: invoice intake, approval workflows, coding, and timely payment execution. Manage vendor relationships and ensure prompt resolution of discrepancies or outstanding issues. Monitor AP aging reports, reconcile vendor statements, and support monthly closing procedures. Review and refine internal AP policies and procedures to drive greater efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with other departments to ensure expenses are recorded properly and approvals are aligned with company policy. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of AP experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Deep understanding of AP operations and internal controls. Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (preferred). Proficient Excel skills and comfort with financial reporting. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be local to the Charleston area and able to work on-site.
