This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and expertise in financial processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and reconciliation while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. Manage and monitor AR functions, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations. Utilize accounting software systems, including AS400, to track and maintain financial records. Conduct audits and research discrepancies to ensure account accuracy and compliance. Supervise and support team members by providing guidance and resolving escalated issues. Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing and payment processes. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Prepare reports on AR performance metrics and present findings to management. Train staff on best practices and ensure adherence to company standards. Handle special projects related to accounts receivable as assigned.
