Description of Duties:

The Internal Auditor supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

The candidate will:

Be responsible for leading and executing Internal Audits for programs that impact the MDA and/or the IRES contract. o This role requires a deep understanding of the enterprise Quality Management System. Lead and execute comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) audits based on AS9100D, customer specifications, and the QMS internal procedures Collaborate with department representatives to plan audits, clearly communicate objectives, and define the scope of each audit Gather and meticulously analyze evidence to assess process effectiveness, product quality, and adherence to QMS requirements Drive continuous improvement by performing thorough follow-up actions to verify the effective implementation of corrective actions Review root cause analyses and corrective action plans related to audit findings Accurately document audit findings and observations, creating detailed, insightful, clear and concise audit reports to communicate results to management Maintain and update the audit database with internal audit results, contributing to data-driven decision-making Contribute to the overall success of the Quality Program by performing other duties as assigned Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. Basic Requirements:

Must have 8, or more, years of general, full-time, work experience Must have 5, or more, years of directly related experience in Quality, including project and process auditing is essential Must have a solid understanding of the project management lifecycle and risk management principles Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) Must have an ISO9001 Lead Internal Auditor certification Must have, or obtain and maintain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance This position is expected to pay $115,000 – $130,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
