Job Summary The Quality Auditor will be responsible for performing management system process audits as an independent, objective measure of how well ADTRAN activities align with ADTRAN policies and objectives. Duties and Responsibilities Perform management system process audits per internal audit schedule. Review process compliance to TL9000, ISO14001 and
ISO17025.
Review management system requirements, internal procedures, and prepare audit checklist. Communicate the audit scope to the responsible Manager(s). Collect evidence through interviews, examination of documents, observations of activities, and observations of conditions in the areas of concerns. Prepare audit reports consisting of areas improved, areas effective, observations, and nonconformities noted during the audit. Conduct closing meetings; communicating the audit results to the responsible Manager(s). Initiate corrective action requests when required. Conduct follow-up audit on corrective actions taken and prepare follow-up audit reports. Make recommendations on process improvements. Develop and document process maps. Revise documents and schedules when necessary. Prepare weekly quality audit reports. Participate in 2nd/3rd party audits. Facilitate meetings when required (document changes, requirement implementations, process changes, etc.). Prepare and conduct training on quality improvement and internal work processes. Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company. Qualifications Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 0-2 years of previous related experience in quality inspection, electronics, and/or manufacturing environment. Fluent knowledge of ISO14001, ISO90001, ISO17025 and TL9000 required. Experience with Microsoft Office. Applicant must have successfully completed or must be able to complete a Lead Auditor course recognized by the RABQSA. Minimal travel, US and Canada possible. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience considered.
