• Primary duties consist of Performing Energy Audits on homes, planning, coordinating, and finalizing weatherized units ensuring materials and measures called for by the energy audit were properly installed and are following DOE and AEO standards
• Plans, organizes, and executes program compliance in the areas of weatherization and education under the authority of State and Federal regulations
• Assures that files containing necessary support documents are adequately maintained and reports are made as required by the funding source
• Ensure applications from prospective clients are completed and the required documentation necessary to establish eligibility is in the case file
• Schedule, assist and direct weatherization activities in the county assigned
• Responsible for the completion of Energy Audits for the residence. Complete job order and material distribution sheets, purchase orders, window and insulation orders, weatherization job completion, final inspection, and follow up with client response forms
• Plan for materials and tools needed to complete each house in compliance with the Department of Energy regulations
• Responsible for assisting in the coordination and assigning of work to subcontractors
• Purchase and/or check inventory of materials for the job
• Evaluate Health and Safety issues required to meet Department of Energy (DOE) regulations and advise the WeatherizationDirector of actions needed. Must perform carbon monoxide testing at each job
• See that all materials purchased meet Department of Energy standards
• See that all materials installed meet Department of Energy standards
• See that all equipment and tools needed are in good working order and advise the Weatherization Director as to what is needed
• Will be crossed trained as back-up to Final Inspector
• Participate in cross-training initiatives for various roles to promote a well-rounded understanding of departmental functions.
