Chief Audit Executive Position Available In Sebastian, Arkansas

This position provides objective assurance and consulting services aimed at improving risk management, controls, and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a risk-based annual audit plan
• Align audit efforts with strategic, operational, and compliance risks
• Maintain a trained and professional audit team
• Evaluate the impact of new services or operations
• Provide fraud and ethics prevention training
• Oversee the City’s fraud, waste, and abuse hotline
• Conduct management self-assessment reviews to expand coverage and train department leadersEducation and ExperienceRequired
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
• Minimum of five years of audit experience with a regional/national firm or government entityPreferred
• CPA or CIA certification
• Experience supervising and training audit staff
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
