Our practice delivers quality audits and otherservices to privately-owned middle-market companies. Servicesinclude internal audit, employee benefit plans, outsourcedaccounting and contract compliance.

Responsibilities:

The SeniorAssurance and Accounting Manager is responsible for providingtimely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds clientexpectations including the auditing of all required financialstatements, related disclosures and other client deliverablesReview and supervise staff work on client engagements to ensurefirm’s quality control procedures are followed Collaborate withother Senior Managers and Partners in the areas of risk assessment,audit programs, internal audit reports and budgeting Understandskill sets and capabilities of Seniors and Staff and monitor andreview work product that they prepare and report on performancewhile articulating notes for improvement throughout the processAdvising client on various economic and regulatory risks resolvecomplex accounting issues Ability to apply all areas of GAAP tocomplex situations, including writing technical memos andinter-office consultation papers and serve as a technical resourcewith the ability to explain and teach staff Informs partners ofprogress on engagements, takes timely action on technical,scheduling and other problems. Brings recommended solutions topartner’s attention for timely action. Provides training,leadership, recognition and administrative direction to motivateand develop team members Understands the economics of the firm’spractice and ability to management profitable engagements. Hasdirect client billing responsibility. Supports the management withdecisions pertaining to policies and procedures and brings thatsupport to the team Accepts other administrative and supervisoryresponsibilities, including recruiting and leading professionaldevelopment conferences, as required Stays current on technical andregulatory issues You should have the following: Bachelor’s degreein accounting or related field required Several years of experiencein a public accounting firm or related experience Minimum of 3years of supervising and training experience CPA certificationrequired, MBA is a plus Interested in hearing more?
