Position Description:
The Internal Store Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring operational compliance and accuracy across multiple convenience store locations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who will conduct pre-audit inspections, assist in store operations as needed, and maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate will support the organization’s goal to maintain operational excellence through accurate auditing and effective communication with site teams.
This role is essential to maintaining operational integrity and fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability within store teams. The Internal Store Auditor ensures that the organization continues to operate efficiently and compliantly while supporting store teams in meeting company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct precise and thorough inventory counts to verify inventory on-hand accuracy.
Ensure that all financial and operational data associated with the site’s inventory aligns with company policies and procedures.
Identify discrepancies in audit results and correct prior to leaving site.
Perform comprehensive walkthrough inspections using designated mobile apps to document findings through detailed responses and photographic evidence.
Assess store conditions, operational processes, and adherence to company policies.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of inspection to facilitate store readiness for audits and share results with Territory Manager and Area Manager.
Act as a resource for store managers and teams by providing guidance on compliance requirements and best practices regarding audit readiness.
Occasionally it may be required to perform other roles in operations as needed.
Travel within and outside of the designated area, including flights and overnight stays, as needed to support store operations and conduct audits.
Adapt to variable schedules to meet the needs of multiple locations and ensure comprehensive audit coverage.
Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor to uphold company image standards.
Foster positive and respectful relationships with store personnel to support a collaborative audit process.
Verify audit results for accuracy.
Prepare detailed audit reports and summaries for senior management review.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse store teams.
Proficient in mobile technology and audit applications for on-site data capture.
Ability to adapt and provide operational support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple store audits simultaneously.
Valid State Driver’s License Required

Inventory Audit Supervisor
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Must be able to stand extended periods (up to 8 hours) during shifts.
Capable of lifting boxes and products, maximum 50 lbs., frequently 10-25 lbs., and carrying items across the store.
Ability to bend, squat, and reach for products on shelves, both high and low. Ability to climb a ladder as needed.
Must be able to walk throughout the store and between departments regularly.
Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks such as scanning items and organizing products.
Able to work in cold environments, including freezers and refrigerators.
The role requires mental focus and stamina to perform physical tasks consistently and efficiently throughout the shift
Ability to work alone.
Work Environment:
Primarily on-site at store locations in a designated area, with some administrative duties.
Frequent travel to different store locations as part of job duties – 2 sites per day.
Requires standing, walking, and lifting inventory items during audits
