Audit Manager Location:
Melbourne, FL Salary:
$100,000 -$130,000 Bonus A well-established CPA firm in the Greater Orlandoarea is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to lead and manageaudit engagements. This role is ideal for a CPA with a strongbackground in public accounting, hands-on audit experience, andproven leadership skills. The Audit Supervisor will oversee thefull audit process, collaborate with clients, and mentor juniorstaff while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
KeyResponsibilities:
Lead Audit Engagements:
Manage all phases ofaudit engagements, from planning to final reporting, ensuringefficiency and adherence to high-quality standards.
Supervise andDevelop Staff:
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performancefeedback to audit team members to support their professionalgrowth.
Client Management:
Act as the primary point of contact forclients, addressing inquiries, providing insights, and fosteringstrong business relationships.
Risk Assessment & Compliance:
Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with regulatorystandards, and identify areas for process improvements.
FinancialReporting:
Oversee the preparation and review of audit reports andfinancial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP andother standards.
Process Improvement:
Contribute to enhancing auditmethodologies and best practices within the firm.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’sdegree preferred.
Certification:
Active CPA license required.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years in audit, including 2 years in asupervisory role (CPA firm experience strongly preferred).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in audit software, MS Office Suite,GAAP, and other accounting standards.
