Audit Manager Location:
Melbourne, FL Salary:

$100,000 – $130,000 + Bonus A reputable CPA firm in the Greater Orlando region is looking for a seasoned Audit Supervisor to oversee and direct audit engagements. This position is perfect for a CPA with extensive public accounting experience, hands-on audit expertise, and demonstrated leadership abilities. The Audit Supervisor will manage the entire audit lifecycle, work closely with clients, and guide junior team members while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Direct Audit Engagements:

Oversee all stages of audit projects, from planning through final reporting, ensuring efficiency and top-quality standards.

Mentor and Lead Staff:

Offer guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to audit team members to foster their professional development.

Client Relations:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions, providing insights, and building lasting business relationships.

Risk Evaluation & Compliance:

Perform risk assessments, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.

Financial Oversight:

Supervise the preparation and review of financial statements and audit reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other standards.

Methodology Improvement:

Contribute to refining audit practices and procedures within the firm.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree is a plus.

Certification:

Active CPA license required.

Experience:

At least 6+ years in audit, with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity (CPA firm experience highly preferred).

Technical Proficiency:

Skilled in audit software, MS Office Suite, GAAP, and relevant accounting standards.
