This role is ideal for candidates with approximately one to two years of audit experience in public accounting. You will be part of a team performing audit fieldwork, preparing workpapers, and supporting the engagement team in delivering high-quality service to our clients. - Perform audit procedures on various financial statement areas under supervision of senior staff and managers
- Prepare and organize audit workpapers with appropriate documentation and support
- Assist in conducting walkthroughs and understanding internal controls of client processes
- Identify accounting issues and communicate findings to senior team members
- Assist in drafting basic financial statement disclosures and audit reports
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients during fieldwork
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and deadlines
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to support continued professional development
- Support multiple client engagements simultaneously while managing time effectively
- The employee is expected to work on-site at the firm’s office and/or at client locations, depending on the needs of each engagement. Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of audit experience required, with public accounting experience strongly preferred
- B.A. in Accounting required, with Masters in Accountancy preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills with considerable knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS, and related financial reporting concepts and rules
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Word and Excel
- Ability to write and speak Spanish fluently preferred Offered Benefits
