Position SummaryOversee andprovide coaching and assistance to audit staff as part of internalaudit reviews and activities, given the position’s solidunderstanding of the business. In addition, the Sr. Supervisormight execute part of the testing that requires a deeperunderstanding of the area under review. The Sr. Supervisor mustensure fieldwork is performed in a timely manner, ensuring allaudit quality and client relation standards are met, and courteousand professional behavior is observed in all situations.
- Position Duties / Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate theeffectiveness of the internal control environment for BSI,performing independent audits to ensure compliance with laws andregulations.
- Prepares audit reports, as directed by InternalAudit Director
- Oversee and provide coaching and assistance toaudit staff as part of internal audit reviews and activities. Mayoversee a small team as a Team Coordinator
- Perform follow-upprocedures and testing for outstanding audit and regulatorycomments for management reporting and continuous auditingprocess
- Participates in ongoing audit training activities, bothon the job as well as formal external training presentations
- Other duties as assigned or requested by immediatesupervisor.
Specialized Knowledge
- Proficiency in application ofinternal auditing theory, standards, procedures, and techniques
- -Knowledge of private banking/financial business operations
- -Flexible, collaborative and proactive with the ability toeffectively adapt to audit different banking areas
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

BusinessExperience:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience or demonstratedrequired level of proficiency

- Strong knowledge ofAML/BSA/KYC and/or Private Banking/Wealth Management processes,risks and controls
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint), Outlook
- Good understanding of human relations andthe ability to maintain satisfactory relationships with auditeesand regulators
- Adaptable and able to meet deadlines onassignmentsLicenses / Certifications (Preferred

Languages:
- Good oral and written communicationskills in English and Spanish
- Physical RequirementsDuties areperformed in an office environment.
- Physical demands could involveany or all of the following: digital dexterity and hand/eyecoordination in the operation of office equipment; light tomoderate lifting (10-20 lbs.
) and carrying of supplies, files, etc;the ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employeesboth telephone calling and in person; and body motor skillssufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office locationto another.

For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is basedon a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based onskills, experience, training, licensure and certifications andlocation.
Salary:
$75,000
- $125,000/year
