We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. This role involves leading audit engagements for various clients, with a focus on non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GAAP, while also assessing internal controls and managing risks effectively. Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning to completion for non-profit organizations
Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and GAAP
Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies
Assess internal controls and identify areas for improvement
Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
Manage grant management processes and financial reporting
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audits
Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
Assist with budgeting and financial planning for clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit, specifically with non-profit organizations
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
Experience with financial statements and financial reporting
Familiarity with tax-exempt entities and grant management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
