Audit Manager Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Description We are looking for a skilled Audit Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Duluth, Georgia. This role involves overseeing audit processes, evaluating business controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and accounting, particularly within retail or automotive industries.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of internal audit programs to assess business process controls and compliance.
• Conduct detailed reviews of accounting functions to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.
• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans tailored to organizational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve control frameworks.
• Analyze budgeting processes to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Utilize advanced tools such as Workiva and Microsoft Excel to streamline audit activities.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to audit staff to enhance team performance. Requirements
• Proven experience in audit management, preferably within the retail or automotive sectors.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit programs and accounting principles.
• Expertise in conducting audit engagements and developing audit plans.
• Proficiency in using auditing tools, including Workiva and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify areas of improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting audit findings and collaborating with teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or relevant certification is highly preferred.
