9-5 M-F, then goes to more flexible hours Clark Personnel is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Auditor to join a growing and dynamic team! This fully remote role is responsible for reviewing and evaluating workers’ compensation claims to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness. The Auditor conducts detailed file reviews, audits, and reconciliations while collaborating with internal teams to uphold regulatory compliance, data integrity, and industry best practices.

Job Description:

Review and analyze all types of workers’ compensation claims-medical-only, indemnity, and lost time-for accuracy and completeness. Conduct audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies, patterns, and process improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with NCCI audit guidelines and internal standards. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including audit accuracy, error rates, and turnaround times. Validate data and support enhancements across claims systems. Prepare detailed audit reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Stay current on regulatory updates and state-specific workers’ compensation laws. Monitor compliance metrics including audit accuracy, error rates, claims review timeliness, and documentation/reporting quality.

Position Requirements:

Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data validation) is required. Experience with all three claim types: medical-only, indemnity (including TTD, TPD, IIB, PTD, catastrophic), and lost time is required. Familiarity with Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) and controverted claims. Experience using claims management systems (eg, Guidewire, ClaimCenter, or similar). Previous work with NCCI or internal audit standards preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
