The IT Lead Senior Auditor is to oversee and perform a wide varietyof complex technology audits to evaluate the established internalcontrols designed to manage the Company’s most significant risks -including information security risks. As the IT Lead SeniorAuditor, you will guide daily audit project operations andsupervise/train Senior and Staff Auditors to guarantee timely andhigh-quality completion of audit work. Within Lowe’s Internal Auditfunction, the agile auditing methodology and mindset is leveragedto focus on the most urgent needs of our business stakeholders. TheIT Lead Senior Auditor will also participate in rotationalcommittee work, such as internal auditing quality reviews, issuefollow up activities, training coordination, etc. What you will do Audit Engagement Management and Evaluation – This position willassist the Sr. Audit Manager in the planning of audits, developingsteps for audit testing, and gathering and analyzing informationnecessary to evaluate the adequacy of controls. Oversee the day-to-day audit function for large complex auditprojects comprised of 1 or more Senior/Staff auditors. Ensure audit projects are conducted in accordance with Lowe’s agilemethodology and work aligns with Lowe’s / IIA standards, andprojects meet established milestones and dates. Perform detailed reviews of Staff/Senior Auditor workpapers toensure alignment with Lowe’s / IIA standards; ensure issuesidentified are vetted, root caused, and communicated to the clientin a timely manner. Demonstrate effective project management by discussing projectexpectations with the audit project team and maintain consistentcommunication throughout the audit engagement, including providingregular engagement feedback to Staff/Senior Auditors. Effective and Concise Communication – This position is responsiblefor interpreting test results and signing off on communication anddeliverables for audit engagements. Manage client relationships with open communication throughout theaudit process. Keep the client aware of potential concerns. Providethe Sr. Audit Manager with project status and/or issues as theyarise. Write and review the first draft of the formal audit report at thequality necessary for an Executive audience. Recognize recurring audit themes and consolidate multiple findingsfor client communications. Build rapport, and establish relationships with stakeholdersthrough effective communication, active engagement, and acommitment to understanding their needs and expectations. Commitment to Continuous Learning / Improvement – This position isresponsible for assisting in the training and supervision of lessexperienced auditors. Continuously develop knowledge of audit tools and techniques toensure quality audit work. Leverage internal and external resources to develop intermediate toadvanced knowledge on audit topics as needed. Identify development opportunities for Staff/Senior Auditors andprovide feedback and coaching as needed throughout the auditengagement. This role does not have direct report responsibilities and reportsdirectly to the Sr. Audit Manager.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree 4+ years’ experience in internal/external IT audit Experience leading audit engagements with 1+ junior staff. Familiarity with auditing standards and frameworks Travel Requirements -10-20%
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. Master’s degree in business, Accounting, IT, or related field
CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA
(or willingness to obtain certification) Cybersecurity audit experience Retail business experience preferred. Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or PowerBI or other relateddata analytics tool #
