Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As our Audit Manager, your responsibilities willinclude but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing the planning,execution, and completion of financial statement audits for ournon-profit organization. 2. Ensuring compliance with all relevantregulations and standards. 3. Preparing and presenting auditfindings to senior management and the board of directors. 4.Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff. 5. Working closelywith other departments to ensure accurate and timely financialreporting. 6. Reviewing and updating our organization’s auditprocedures and policies as needed. 7. Assisting in the preparationof annual financial statements and tax returns. 8. Providingtechnical accounting advice to staff and management on complextransactions. 9. Leading and participating in special projects asassigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for our Audit Managerposition will possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of5 years of experience in audit management, preferably within thenon-profit sector. 2. Proven experience in non-profit financialstatement audit preparation. 3. A bachelor’s degree in accounting,finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly preferred.4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditingstandards. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6.Strong leadership and team management abilities. 7. Exceptionalcommunication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability topresent complex financial information in a clear and concisemanner. 8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft OfficeSuite. 9. A high level of integrity and professionalism. 10. Anunderstanding of the unique financial challenges and regulationswithin the non-profit sector.
