Internal Auditor 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Brooklyn, NY 11238 We are currently seeking a Part-Time Internal Auditor with an active CPA license to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies, state and federal regulations, and industry best practices. The Internal Auditor will play a critical role in assessing financial controls, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to strengthen overall organizational governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits of financial processes and controls Evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior leadership Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk Assist in maintaining internal control documentation Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits

Qualifications:

Active CPA license required 3+ years of experience in internal auditing or public accounting Knowledge of healthcare regulations or experience in nonprofit/rehab setting preferred Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality #phaxisfs
