Associate, Internal Auditor – Chief Information Office Position Available In New York, New York

Participate in local and global audits for the Chief Information Office (CIO) portfolio including audit coverage of Nomura’s technology infrastructure, Operations and Human Resources. Execute audits and follow up activities in accordance with departmental audit methodology and documentation standards, and within budget and timelines. Develop and implement data analytics and automated testing to support IT integrated audits to identify internal control weaknesses. Raise issues, draft action plans, and obtain agreement for implementation of plans from auditees and management. Verify that issues raised in reports are closed. Establish relationships with technology and business partners, and work closely with audit leads to assist with risk assessments. Assist in special projects, ad hoc investigations and audit advisory work.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems, plus three years of experience in the offered position or as an Associate for a bank or financial institution.•All required experience must have included performing information security, application, and technology infrastructure audits using industry standards including

ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST

Cybersecurity Framework, and 5 pillars; developing and executing data analytics using Excel, SQL, and knowledge of Unix, Windows, web and network infrastructures; analyzing business and technology processes to evaluate the effectiveness of controls; reviewing system code (Java and C++), re-performing system processes, and analyzing data using SQL; and performing IT governance and security audits.

This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#
